Manuel Lopez III started out playing drums at 4 years old, with his first gig at age 5. Since then he has been writing, performing and recording with countless artists in many genres of music ranging from latin to jazz to blues to funk. The son of a professional horn player, Manuel has spent his entire life playing drums aside such jazz artists as Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, blues legends Johnny Adams and Donald Kinsey, and even country star Clay Walker. Manuel now lives in Galesburg, Il with his wife and three children.
