Chad started playing bass at age 11, his main influence being John Paul
Jones. He was in a couple of bands in high school, including one with Tadd.
Chad earned a scholarship to Millikin University, where he got his
bachelor's degree in music performance and recording. After college, he
moved to Chicago and started a band called 56 Hope Road with his college
buddies. 56 toured coast to coast for several years, doing approximately 220
shows per year, and made 4 albums. Chad moved back to his hometown of
Woodhull in 2010 and was recently married. He started playing with
Blueskillet in 2011 and still does shows with 56 Hope Road.
